52 Earrings in 2011 – Nos. 21 & 22

The splash of red coral really makes these earrings stand out in a crowd.

Inspired by a lone-earring that I found for $1 at a garage sale and made in to a pendant, I’ve melted copper solder on to copper sheet for the organic and rough feature in these dangle earrings.

Now available at The Bower Bird Project in Gosford.

These bright lime green eyelets were begging to top and tail a pair of earrings.

After cutting the copper sheet, I decided to add a slit down the centre of it. With the eyelets in place, the copper kind of resembles an old-fashioned razor blade – but without the sharp edges!

Finished on surgical steel ear wires – for those of you with sensitive ears – all earrings come with a complimentary pair of rubber ear nuts, to help prevent the loss of your earrings.

Now available at the ArtFire Studio – AU$47.
