Husband had invited me out for a drive around one of the plantations he looks after (don’t worry, I filled my pockets with breadcrumbs in case he decided to do a Hansel and Gretel on me!!). I jumped out of the truck to take a few photos and was ‘leeched’. Queue shrieking and letting of blood, and now I’ve sworn not to get out of the truck until we get back to town…
