Last week I confessed that I’ve fallen head over heels in love with black and white photography.

The beauty of black and white is that it has a way of really letting the viewer experience the image.  The colour is stripped away, leaving behind the composition, light & shadow, texture and tonal qualities – the essence and emotion of the image.

These are my modest attempts at finding the soul of my subjects.  More experimentation is required, but in the meantime, I’m giving it my best shot.
