A late start – after another late night.  The sun doesn’t go down until about 9 p.m. here in Tasmania, and I think it’s starting to catch up with us all.

Cataract Gorge today, so the kids can go swimming and wear themselves out enough to go to bed at a reasonable hour, so Santa can deliver all the presents!

The weather is hot, and we’re all feeling it.  The kids needed to cool down and ended up swimming a couple of kilometres up the river under the supervision of Husband.  That meant my Sister and I got a chance to sit under a tree and have a good old catch-up!

Tonight we’ll try to get them in bed at a reasonable hour, but they’re all getting excited about tomorrow being Christmas Day (which equates to opening presents) so I think we might be fighting a losing battle.
