How was your festive season?
Mine was filled with hot weather, family, fun and lots of sloppy kisses from my youngest nephew (which I took advantage of whenever the opportunity arose!). But the holiday is over and now
it’s time to kick off The Weekend Photo Project for 2015
First up, I’ve decided to change things up a little this year.
Instead of posting the weekend’s prompts each Friday, I’ll be posting a months worth of prompts on the first Friday of each month… which means we’re already a weekend behind (sorry, I was travelling home from above-mentioned sloppy kisses holiday).
The idea behind going with a monthly list is that from time to time we all get busy, and there are some weekends where picking up a camera proves a little more difficult than others. I figured that if we have a monthly list, if the situation arises where the perfect photo for a prompt presents itself, then you’ll be able to take it! Think of it a prior planning and preparation…!!
Most of the prompts are self-explanatory – a mix of personal and compositional – and as always, the prompts are open to your interpretation – get creative, think outside the box, think inside the box – it’s up to you.
The places to play along remain the same. You’ll find all the details about how and where to share here.
Personally this year, I’m setting myself the challenge of taking all of my #twpp images with my DSLR and getting them on to Instagram (in case you’re interested, here’s a read on how to do that). The list will be printed and put where I can see it on my desk, so that’s it’s always fresh in my mind. I know I slacked off on photos toward the end of last year, so I’m going to try and not do that again this year.
Anyway, enough from me – it’s time to play. Looking forward to seeing everyone’s photos again this year!
