the-weekend-photo-project-27-julyMacro has to be one of my favourite ways of shooting.  I love all the little details – the ones that you might not always be able to see with the naked eye.

The definition of macro (according to dictionary.com) is extremely close-up photography in which the image on the film is as large as, or larger than, the object.  Depending on who you talk to though, you might get a slightly different answer.

I’m lucky enough to own a macro lens – the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro – which I love!  Before I became the proud owner of that lens though, I learned how to use the little flower symbol on my hybrid Fuji.

Not sure what you can shoot in macro?  Pop on over here for some inspiration.

And don’t forget to share your macro shot with me!
