We’re at Nambucca Heads this weekend. Needed to escape from the top of the mountain and have a little beach time…
Somehow or other, whenever we hit the beach, we end up having to carry the kids shoes. The rule generally is “your shoes, you carry them”, but the Little Man was just so excited to be there, that he was running up and down the beach like a maniac and picking up every second shell he saw. So the Dad took pity (begrudgingly) and carried his shoes for him.

Nambucca is definitely our favourite beach-weekend destination. We try to get down there for a ‘long weekend’ at least once a year. Take a day or two off school and work and away we go!
Do you still have family there? And/or do you still come for visits? We should try to do a Nambucca catch-up!?
