2011 has been another big and busy year.  But it’s time to stop and reflect… to give thanks for the things that have made this year great.

I am grateful for my family.

They drive me to distraction sometimes, but without them I would be a lonely old woman.

I am grateful to my Husband for giving me neck and back rubs.

He gets these old bones going (and sometimes back where they should be) so that I can keep on keeping on.

I am grateful for my job.

It’s allowed us to go to Tasmania for a holiday this year (only 26 more sleeps!!) and however cliched it might sound, I do enjoy helping those kids who can’t always help themselves.

I am grateful that I’ve learned to quit.

I can be such a determined cow and usually hate to quit, but I’ve reached a point where my limits are making themselves heard loud and clear – and I’m finally listening.

I am grateful for my lovely friend Jess.

She’s helped me out in so many ways this year – inspirationally, technically and willingly – thanks love!

I am grateful for all the wonderful people I know online.

You all broaden my horizons.  Showing me parts of the world that I may never visit.  Showing me different ways of looking at life. Letting me take a peek in to your lives.

I am grateful for all of my wonderful real-life friends.

Thank you for being there.  Those special people that I can call on any time of day or night.  You know who you are and you rock!

I am grateful for my physiotherapist, my naturopath and my massage therapist.

Thank you for helping me to live a life that is as pain-free as it possibly can be.  You are all magical in your own special way.

I am grateful to all the kids at school who have adopted me as an honorary Mum.

Whenever I hear you call me Mum it makes me smile.  To know that I’ve touched their lives even in a small way is humbling.

And I am grateful for you, lovely reader.

Thank you so much for reading, commenting and sharing my posts.  Thank you for dropping by and thank you for inspiring me to keep going.

How about you?
