{photography} cherish your family: my little man

My Little Man has had a bit of a rough year so far…

High-school has come as a bit of a shock.  There’s not much time left over for bike riding and computer games once homework and assessment tasks have been worked on.

And he’s been battling with aching knees and a sore back, which is understandable given that he’s grown 12 centimetres in the last 12 months.

But he doesn’t complain.

He still has his wicked sense of humour.
And gives me cuddles morning and night.
And just yesterday he told me “I will always be your baby *goo-goo, gah-gah*.”

So even though getting photos of him is like having teeth pulled, I’ll cherish these images because they show his serious side, his tired eyes and his love for me that he’ll sit and have them done, even though he’d much rather be somewhere else.

He is my mirror and my anchor. And he will always be my Little Man.

Beautiful portraits and lovely words about your young man who will always be your baby. I can certainly see who his Mum is!

      Thank you, Jane.
I’m aiming to take more photos of the kids over the remainder of the year. Despite almost constantly having a camera in my hand, I never seem to get photos of them.
