I'm sick of the view. My feet are cold. I'm over bad daytime tv. And I just want to vacuum my floor.

And I’m sure they smell.

For the last 6 weeks or so now, I’ve been battling some bug.

It’s not the ‘flu.  It’s something else that seems to come and go.  I can’t get vertical without being dizzy.  I don’t want to eat.  And on the bad days I just want to sleep.  And sleep.  And sleep.

Which means I’ve become very good friends with the couch.  And daytime Austar TV.

The kids have been good about it.  They’re both pretty self-sufficient now.  Can get their own food when necessary.  They don’t like having to do that, but it’s either they help themselves or starve (and starving is definitely not an option for my two).

Husband is managing okay as well, considering he’s had to cook for the last 4 nights straight.  Wash, hang and fold washing.  Clean house.  Help with homework.  Do bedtimes.  Ferry Daughter to Armidale for a Science excursion. And all in addition to work his job.

But it’s starting to take it’s toll on him.  His walking around making that breathing out noise he does when he’s tired and doing stuff he doesn’t want to do.

But back to the pyjamas.

I’m going to wash them tonight.  I can’t stand the thought of wearing them for another day without them being clean.  Even though I’m not doing anything but lay around, they still feel grotty.

Time for another sleep I think…
