Success isn’t about achieving something in the future, but about doing something right now that you love.

My success – when I realised it – had a present and a future.  And would be done with love as its purpose.

For me, success is my family’s health and happiness.

Growing up for me was less than ideal.  There were alcohol and abuse issues.  Just as there are in many families worldwide.

When things reached the really pointy end of the stick and I broke ties with my parents, I had a child of my own.  And I knew what I would need to do to be successful.

For me it didn’t come down to wealth or fame.  All I needed to be successful was a happy and healthy child and husband.

It didn’t matter that I was still a mess emotionally and physically.  I was on my road to ‘my’ success.

Fast forward 10 years, and I am happy and healthy myself.  And now I have 2 kids and a Husband who are as well.

I am in a good place.

I. Am. Happy.

I. Am. Healthy.

I. Am. Content.

I. Am. A. Success.

By my standards anyway.  And in the end that’s all that matters to me.

What does success mean to you? Have you achieved your success and what is it?
